Office of the Academic Affairs.

This office – Academic Affairs Office was established in the year 2010. The office was formerly known as the Assessment Office and is manned by one person who doubles as a tutor of mathematics. The Office of Academic Affairs performs the following functions:

  • Preparation of timetables for both regular and sandwich students.
  • Collation of continuous assessment scores of students for onward submission to mentoring universities.
  • Receiving results of students from mentoring universities
  • Interpreting and analyzing results for discussion at the academic board level
  • Conducting all examinations in the college as well as other external examinations including Teacher Licensure Examination

Achievements

Over the years, the office of academic affairs has successfully conducted both internal and external high-stake examinations such as GES Promotion Examinations, Ghana Police Promotion Examination among others without any hitch at all. When it comes to invigilation, the Academic Affairs Office does not compromise at all.

Challenges

In spite of the many successes chalked by this office, there are some setbacks. These include inadequate personnel to assist in interpreting and analyzing results of students among others.

The Way Forward

The Office of Academic Affairs wishes the college expands further and the officer in charge of academic work detached from the teaching staff. The office further looks forward to seeing the outfit equipped with the needed personnel and logistics in order to work for the betterment of MOTHER BATCO.
